Staffed hat bar · caps + patches pressed live

A trucker hat bar for your event, ordered like a menu.

Pick a package, tell us the guest count, and we show up with curved-brim caps, a curated patch wall, and a two-person crew. Guests choose a hat, pick their patches, and watch the press seal it — about a minute per hat, no drying, no mess.

Run by Merch Troop, an Orange County live-event customization company. We handle cap sourcing, patch curation, staffing, insurance paperwork, and load-in — you just approve the menu.

How the bar runs

Four beats, ninety seconds a hat.

01

Pick the cap

Guests grab a Richardson 112 or Flexfit-style crown from a color rack sized to your event's look.

02

Build the combo

They pull two or three patches from the wall — leather, chenille, or woven — and lay out placement with our crew.

03

Press & seal

A trained operator runs the heat press. Guests stay on the safe side of the table while the patch bonds permanently.

04

Wear it out

The hat is cool to the touch in seconds and goes straight onto a head — the best photo moment of the night.

Why planners book this format

Everything is decided before doors open.

  • Fixed hat counts. You approve the exact number of caps on the quote, so the giveaway budget can't drift mid-event.
  • A patch wall, not a print queue. Because patches are pre-made, the line moves at conversation speed even at 400-guest scale.
  • Small footprint. Two six-foot tables and one standard outlet. The bar fits a hotel foyer, a suite level, or a 10×10 booth.
  • Custom patch runs. On the Full Wall tier we produce patches with your logo, date, or inside joke — give us about three weeks.
  • One invoice. Caps, patches, crew, travel, setup, and teardown come as a single line-item package.

Check availability

Send the date once — get a real package back.

Tell us the event date, city, and rough headcount. We reply with a package tier, a hat count that matches your guest list, patch options, and a staffed price. One event, one crew per date, so popular Saturdays do sell out.

  • Planning tip: order caps for 60–75% of guests, not 100% — our hat count guide explains why.
  • Need custom patches? Lock artwork about three weeks out.
  • Outside SoCal? A flat $900 travel fee covers Las Vegas and most western cities.

You'll get a real package recommendation with a hat count, patch tier, and staffed price — not an auto-reply.
